Day 4 - Piraeus

We arrived at Piraeus at 7am - after breakfast we walked through the narrow streets to the old fishing port of Mikrolimano - passed a fruit and vegetable market that stretched through a long street. We visited Mikrolimano 42 years ago - at that time a charming fishing port with fish restaurants along the waterfront. The restaurants were still there but the charm was turned into a Marina with many yachts. We managed to find a couple of fishing boats where today's catch was sold. Back on the ship we had lunch. The weather was now for us to sit on our balcony. 
Tonight we got escargots / fried eggplant with olives, ravioli and a cheese plate.
